Thanks to an environmental project sponsored by Bayer Australia, more than 20,000 migratory birds will now continue to find a safe haven in the Western Port Bay nature reserve after their 12,000-kilometer-long journey. The project known as BIRDS - Bayer International Regeneration and Development Scheme - was set up in Australia to protect the land from pollution and to avoid any use of the land for recreation activities that could endanger the birds' habitat. In this way Bayer is contributing to the long-term conservation of fauna and flora.
