the gas phase oxidation method is made available to other companies.

Specialist
disposal of polluted wastewater is one of the core areas of expertise
of the environment experts at the Bayer site in Brunsbüttel,
Germany. Despite an increase in production, continuous process improvements
have meant that the volume of polluted wastewater has steadily decreased.
The capacity freed up as a result in the wastewater incinerator,
which operates according to the gas phase oxidation principle, has
been made available to customers outside Bayer. The treatment capacity
of the unit is around 100 percent, making the facility the most
effective form of wastewater treatment available. Numerous companies
are already taking advantage of this service.
