In
May 2001 Bayer reiterated its commitment to countering the resurgence
of racism in Germany through its support for a campaign organized
jointly by the German Chemical Employers' Federation and the Mining,
Chemical and Energy Workers' Union. Equal treatment of all employees
is one of our corporate principles and correlates with the sixth
principle of the Global Compact: "Business should eliminate
discrimination in respect of employment and occupation."
